Within a short walk, you can visit the National Archaeological Museum (Palazzo Sinesi) with its incredible funerary goods belonging to Daunian princes, alongside underground hypogea. Just outside the center, let yourself be enchanted by the San Leucio Archaeological Park, featuring the remains of a majestic Italic temple, and the scenic Roman Bridge over the Ofanto River, a witness to the passage of emperors and merchants.

In the Footsteps of History: The Via Francigena and the Path of Faith

Spirituality, slow pace, and timeless landscapes.

The Principe Boemondo Luxury Room stands on the route of the Southern Via Francigena, the historical pilgrim path leading from Rome to the boarding ports for the Holy Land. Canosa represents one of the most important and spiritual stops along this ancient European path.

  • The experience: Experience the thrill of walking on the historic stone slabs of the Via Traiana. Starting from our B&B, you can walk along a stretch of the path surrounded by secular olive trees and vineyards, breathing in the peace of the Apulian countryside. Along the way, you will pass the Bishops' Museum (just 60 meters from the property), a treasure chest of sacred art, and the evocative early Christian catacombs. A slow journey, to be taken on foot or by bicycle, to rediscover an authentic connection with the territory.
